DIGITAL ART ON GLASS
By Martin Dingli
ABOUT MARTIN DINGLI
The fourth of five children, Martin Dingli was born in Malta in 1960, where he was raised with a privileged childhood, in a historic palazzo situated in the magnificent bastion city of Valetta. In line with family tradition, at 7 years of age he was sent to a strict & traditional British boarding school, where he passed much of his time subverting rules & regulations.
At 14, Martin’s entire family migrated to Australia, where he completed his schooling, obtaining several qualifications. This translation to a radically different country & culture had a significant formative effect on Martin as an artist, creating a duality of citizenship & seeing which remains highly influential in his work today.
